How can I make a booking?

Simply call us on 92717519 and we can help you, we quite often are super busy servicing our clients so please leave a message on our voicemail and we can return your call. We have online booking available on our website.

Where should I park?

Corner of Adross Crescent and Walcott Street at the end of our shopping strip right next to Rich Real Estate has ample parking and there is usually a lot of bays free. If they are full there is street parking all around which is free and unlimited. We do also have our staff carpark accessed via Gelston Lane you can use if you still can’t find something!

Where is your salon?

Our Perth salon is located at 344 Walcott Street, Coolbinia!

What is your cancellation policy?

When making an appointment with our salon, we reserve that appointment for you and you only. Meaning that time slot cannot be given to anyone else. This is why we have a cancellation policy in place. Any cancellations or changes to any appointment must be communicated to us within 24 hours of your appointment time. Failure to provide the required 24 hours notice will result in us invoicing you a cancellation fee of $50. We send out reminder texts 72 hours prior to your appointment. It is super important to respond to those and get your appointment confirmed. We will endeavour to contact you to confirm your booking but in the event we don't hear from you your appointment will be given to another client. We have a strict no-show policy. If you make an appointment and don't show up, we will charge you 100% of that appointment.

Do you require a deposit?

For new clients we request a $50 holding deposit to secure your booking. That amount will automatically be deducted off of your bill in the salon on the day. The deposit is fully refundable provided that the cancellation policy is adhered to. For hair extensions, keratin smoothing and major colour changes, the amount required will be at 50% of the bill.

What if I'm running late?

That’s ok! We will always do our best for late arrivals and if you’re going to be late please let us know. As a courtesy to all our clients, appointments will be completed as scheduled and we may not have the correct time to complete all of your service that was booked. Please note though if we have to perform a lesser service due to a late arrival, we will still have to charge for what was originally booked. We suggest for our clients to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to find parking and settle in without the stress of being late.

What payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Eftpos, American Express and we proudly offer Afterpay in salon. All online booking fees are processed securely through PayPal. All payments must be processed on the day of your appointment before leaving the salon.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers are available in a physical gift voucher or in form of an e-voucher. For a physical voucher they would need to be picked up from the salon and for an e-voucher they are available through our online booking portal and they’re available to purchase 24/7

Do you cater to my specific requirements?

For any requirements you may need for your visit please advise us and we will do our best to accomodate your needs or assist finding a solution for you. We take the upmost care but Banks Hair can not guarantee that all of our products are free from traces of allergens and are compatible with any type of disability, allergy or health condition you may have.

Do you offer refunds?

Banks Hair cannot accept products being returned due to hygiene reasons and please be aware that all sales on any consumable products are final. We do not offer refunds for any hair services. In the event something isn’t quite right with your hair we are happy to have you come back and visit us within 7 days, free of charge. We will always work with you and will do everything we can to make sure you are loving your new hair. Our policy for any redo work is that you must be able to come back into the salon within 7 days of when your appointment was, so please if you have any concerns get in touch with us as soon as possible. We promise it will be a pleasant experience and won’t make it uncomfortable for you. Unfortunately a simple change of mind will not fall under this policy.

Do you have a salon work guarantee?

We guarantee the results of all our products and our techniques. For this guarantee to be effective, it is important for our clients to using only the home care purchased from our salon recommended for that particular service or desired result. For example, we cannot guarantee your gorgeous new red colour will last for 4 weeks without fading out without using the colour conditioner we recommend.

How do I book extensions?

To book a hair extension appointment. You can book a consultation online, it only takes 15 minutes and we can go through what method, colour, length etc will best suit your hair and your needs. We can then provide you with a quote and a treatment plan, from there it is completely up to you whether or not you decide to go ahead or not From there we will take a 50% deposit book you in for your appointment. We do need to order the hair required in from our supplier and will only be able to book you one week from your consultation. We may be able to do it sooner but we generally only order hair extensions as we need them so may not have the right colour or amount on hand. What do I do on the day of my extensions?

We will need you to arrive with clean and dry hair. You are able to colour your hair on the day of having hair extensions done. Once your hair has been applied, we cut, blend and style the hair to suit your natural hair and your desired look. Please be aware that these appointments can sometimes be a long one. Expect to be here for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 5-6 hours if you’re having a colour, cut and extensions applied.

Can I bring my children?

At Banks Hair, we love kids but we do not perform hair services on children. To comply with our company OHS, we could not guarantee the safety of an unaccompanied child in our salon as there is such a high exposure to chemicals, sharp hairdressing tools and hot electrical tools. For the consideration of other clients in our small salon children are not able to accompany you to your appointment.
